I have never seen a city more breathtaking and lively. The skyline reminds you of a virtual paradise. Pictures speak a thousand words!!! Buckle up for a virtual tour of this gorgeous city! ❤ ❤
- Walk by the Downtown
Experience the beauty of this city by taking a stroll by the down town. This city is extremely fast paced. You feel so accomplished looking at these colorful buildings and the people around you!!!!
2. Willis Tower
Willis Tower is located in the downtown. You can get the most perfect view of this gorgeous city. You may want to visit this place at sunset/ sunrise. Who would dare to step on the glass balcony at the 103rd floor with me?? 🙂
3. Michigan Avenue
The best place for street photography!!!!
I have never seen any place like this!!! You need a billion eyes to capture the beauty of this place!! ❤
4. Chicago Riverwalk
Be prepared for a 20- 25 mins walk by the riverside. With the most breathtaking view, this walk could just be everything you may need to soothe your mind!!
5. 360 Chicago
“Tilt” to have a panoramic 360 view at 30 degrees!!! ❤ Feel the adrenaline rush as you take on this challenge!! ❤
6. Millennium Park
The most famous “Chicago Bean” is located here!!! Explore fun activities like skating or rock climbing. Climb the bridge to get over to the other side. You can spot a lot of couples having their photo shoots taken here!
7. Walk by Lake Michigan
One of the most energizing walks to do!!! Get ready to romance with the nature ❤
Note: 1. You can take a walk from Millennium Park to Field museum. Though it is a tedious one, the soothing waters of Lake Michigan makes this worthwhile.
2. You can board the water taxi from here Field Museum to Navy Pier (refer to pictures above for the beautiful view from the taxi)
8. Adler Planetarium
Have a sneak peak into the Milky Way and beyond! This is a must visit to learn more about our Universe!! ❤
I walked out feeling so proud of the planet I was living in and with a tiny ray of hope that I’ll be flying into the space!! (Yeah, that’s my fantasy world!)
9. Shedd Aquarium
You will get to see around 1500 animal species. This is one of the largest indoor aquariums.
Note: Do not miss the aquatic show 🙂
10 Meet “Sue” – Field Museum
The story of Sue will touch your heart ❤ It rewinds your time clock and takes you to a different era altogether! 🙂
Fossil study at it’s best ❤ You get to see 30 million fossils.
11. Navy Pier
I hopped off the water taxi to this fun Beach Town ❤
12. Walk by the West Taylor Street
There is a vibrant feel about this place. The young crowd, live music & cute little Italian Restaurants make up the “Italy Town”!!
This place is walkable distance from the UIC campus.
Note: 1. You may save huge if you buy the Chicago City pass.
2. The transportation in this city is really good!!! You can buy the bus pass or use Uber.
3. This city gets very windy at night. Ensure you have your jackets with you all the time!!
4. Ensure you are wearing comfy shoes!! There’s a lot of walking to do 😀
5. Do not limit yourself to these places. Feel free to explore ❤
